A wide variety of foods, drinks and incidents can cause stains. Wine, tea, coffee, pet incidents, ink and rust are some examples. Needless to say, certain stains are quite stubborn and very difficult to come off as they change the pigment of the fabric. The inky dark substance shown in this picture is a result of color bleeding from the rugs own deep red dyes. It had penetrated so deep into the texture of this decorative rug that it was near impossible to salvage. To a rug specialist, though, it is no magic to belittle such incidents up to a very large extent. As shown in the following picture deep red stain cannot be seen, and the rug could be used again. These rugs can even be sold once remedied. We use a rug stain removal technique that has been employed for hundreds of years.
